Sarah Webb to lead. Hopefully everyone is ready for a geometry lesson! Warm-up on Banstead Close (if you’re running late, just catch us there).
Then, two periods of twelve minutes, with a short break between. The first period will be laps of “The Triangle”, with a short (self-timed) recovery after each loop. And then the second period will be laps of “The Rectangle”. No rulers or protractors required.

SOCIAL RUN @ DOVER LANE, ANGMERING
- Time: 6.30pm (for a 6.45pm start)

- Parking: There is a large free car park. However, due to the fact that it’s a bit outside of Worthing, please consider offering lifts to other runners.
- Optional drink in The World’s End pub afterwards
Options of routes: 10.4km, 8.5km and 5.7km. That’s 6.5 miles, 5.3 miles and 3.5 miles respectively in old money. If the weather is good in the days before, road shoes should be perfect.

Brighton Marathon
Come and join us for the Brighton Marathon Supporters Party!
- Meeting Point: On Hove Promenade, at the bottom of Third Avenue (Google Maps) About a mile away from the finish. Advanced warning, it is likely to be very busy!
- When: About 12noon onwards. We’re probably expecting to see the first Gazelles finish from about 1pm. (The first wave starts at 9.45am and continue to start for about an hour.)
- Who will we see: In no particular order, George Bacon; Nick Brockwell; Madz Gardiner. Have you been forgotten? Remind Charles.
- What to bring? High energy. Snacks and drinks. A phone with the Brighton Marathon app on to track your chosen runners.

Rowing Club 5K

- Teams: We hope to enter a men’s team and a women’s team. We can have as many as we like in a team, and the first four finishers of each team making a team score, where we hopefully beat Tuff Fitty triathlon club!
