Night of the 1-mile PB @ Worthing Leisure Centre (Track)
- Time: 6.30-7.30pm
- Meeting Point: Worthing Leisure Centre, Shaftesbury Ave, Goring-by-Sea, Worthing BN12 4ET (Google Maps)
- Parking: Free parking in the Leisure Centre car park

- Kit: Speedy shoes! We’ve invited a few guests from other clubs to come and join us for this, so we’re politely asking that Club vests/kit is not worn please.
Night of the 1-Mile PBs! Basically thought we’d have a bit of a race night. Based on the fact that none of us ever race a mile distance, we’re hoping for a few PBs! Bring snacks or a cool box full of beers and we’ll have a bit of a social whilst cheering each other over the line. What else would you rather do on a Friday evening?
- Race #1: 8:30 or longer (suitable for those who race 5K 28:30 or longer)
- Race #2: 7-8:30 minutes (suitable for those who race 5K between 24:00-28:30)
- Race #3: 6-7 minutes (suitable for those who race 5K between 20:30-24:00)
- Race #4: 6-minutes or quicker (suitable for those who race 5K in 20:30 or quicker)
For those who have never run track or have no idea how far a mile is, don’t worry. To estimate your mile race time, think of a recent race time and look it up on this website.
